Sissoko injured for the season

Sissoko will miss the rest of the season due to knee injury, which will be a great blow for the Juventus, as they are already facing many injury problems! Her has undergone arthroscopic surgery to remove damaged cartilage in his left knee. He played 18 games this season and have faced knee problems for past few months! Their poor domestic campaign has been overshadowed due to these injury problems:

Hasan Salihamidzic sustained a thigh problem in training session and will miss couple of matches!

Alberto Aquilani has yet to recover from a muscle injury.

Defender Fabio Grosso is also out for 10 days with a strain in his right thigh, meanwhile Simone Pepe is suspended for this weekend. These will be a big blows for Juventus as they have a crucial Seria A match against the table leaders AC Milan!

Van Gaal could leave Bayern Munich!

McLaren to improve

Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button, one of the best drivers in F1 have expressed concerns about their
pre-season performance, and are very hopeful to improve their driving skills for the upcoming season. They had a hard time in Jerez and Barcelona, where the team have been plagued with reliability issues which have cost them track time. Adding fuel to fire, Ferrari and Red Bull have completed double the mileage of McLaren, and that is a worry for the two, as they have to overcome these problems if they want to see McLaren on the top of the ranking list!

Chelsea: Too Late!

Chelsea troubled the winning run of Manchester United when they snatched the victory in last minutes from Red Devils!
The match was an exciting one, but it was Lampard who scored the goal in last minute from a spot-kick and gave Chelsea 3-Points from this fixture! Luiz who was the latest 25 Million signing for the Blues, scored an equalizer for the Chelsea. One setback still remains for the Blues as their Massive 50-Million signing couldn't fint the net in last game, as he needs more time to settle down!

Despite the win and 3-Points, Chelsea manager, Ancelotti is still not a happy man, as he thinks that this win was too little too late for their League glory, as now they are 12-Points behind Man U. He thinks that now Chelsea should focus on Competitions that are still in reach for the 'Pride of London' Club! And he is not wrong, right now, best options for Chelsea is to focus on top-4 position in Barclays, and try to win the Champions League for the first time!

Manuel Neuer Transfer NEWS

There is no doubt that Manuel Neuer is one of the best goal keeper in the world. His performance in domestic level in Bundesliga as well as in nation team performances, has put him into a place of consideration for one of the best keepers! And due to that he is on radars of many big clubs who are looking to replace their old and retiring keepers! And these clubs include; Bayern and Manchester United.

As we know that Vander Sar have announced that he will retire from all kinds of games of soccer after this season. So Sir Alex Ferguson need a good goal keeper of Vander Sar quality, and there is no doubt that he will not get a better choice than Neuer for that job! And Schalke have confirmed that Manchester United are interest in Neuer, and they will possibly transfer him this summer.
Meanwhile, Bayern manager, have said that Schalke's wanted keeper, could be a good option for his team's keeping position, and it is sure that Schalke will not let Neuer leave the club for a cheap amount, they will surely put a good price tag on Neuer and both of these clubs will have to resolve the matter if they want to sign him.

Valencia vs Barcelona (Match Preview)

Valencia host a tie breaking fixture, on Wednesday against Barcelona at Mestalla! It is the only place where Guardiola have failed to achieve success since he took over the managerial duty at FC Barcelona! And no doubt that Valencia can be a big bump on the road for the Catalans to achieve this years title.
Given, the excellent run of Barcelona in League Title, it will be very difficult for Valencia to overcome the Mighty Catalans side, but always expect the unexpected! Although still, there are problems for Barcelona as their defense is facing injury problems! As we kno that Puyol and Valdes are injured, and will miss this trip. But the sign of relief for Barcelona, as their center backbone, Xavi have returned from his injury and will play against Valencia!

Former Valencia player, Villa, who is currently embedded to Barca's starting XI, will be playing against his former club, but he is confident that Barca will not return empty handed from this fixture! Barca broke Madrid's emphatic record this year of longest winning run, and are in the best shape, although they had a disappointing trip to London for the Champions League, where the lost to Arsenal in last 14 minutes, but they recovered well after that loss, and again started their winning run.
Valencia, who are 3rd in La Liga table, after their close victory against Athletic Bilbao, and achieved eighth win in the last 10 matches!

Chelsea vs Man United

Out-of-Form Chelsea are to host Manchester United for the fierce battle of Football between these two rivals!
This Match was postponed from December last year to 1 March 2011 as a result of heavy snow. After that the bad times for the Blues started as they consistently lost the matches and were very unsuccessful in gaining more points from their fixtures, meanwhile after a bad start, Man U started a good run, and now, the hosts for this fixture, Chelsea are 15-Points behind the table leader Man United. Red Devils, who thrashed Wigan in their latest fixture by 4-0, are no doubt in very good form, especially in away fixtures!

Even with the transfer of around 75 Millions, Chelsea were unsuccessful in creating good results! They landed Torres to their soil, even with the good striker and the defender Luiz, Chelsea are still to gain their Momentum!
This fixture will be held in Stamford Bridge on Tuesday, 1st March 2011! We certainly cant underestimate the quality Chelsea have, and to keep in mind the setbacks in Premier League fixtures, and with the help of home crowd, Chelsea can put hurdles to Man United for their title run!

Dean Richards pronounced Dead!

The 36-Years-Old died yesterday after fighting a long illness, which forced him to retire from the game at the age of 30. He was one of the good defenders for the Spurs lineup who started his career at Bradford City. He moved to Wolves for £1.85million in 1995 and four years later he moved to Southampton. And two years later he made the biggest move of his career to Tottenham for £8.1million.

Unfortunately he never really fulfilled his potential during his career because of persistent injury problems. It was a shame but he still enjoyed a good career within the game. He is fondly remembered by everybody who had the pleasure to watch him play.

He is a big lost in the football world, and we, all soccer fans will miss him very much. May his soul Rest in Peace!

Carling Cup Final

All eyes on Monday night at Wembley! Where the final of Carling Cup will be held, between the two sides: Arsenal vs Birmingham City!!!

It was 21st May 2005, when Arsenal won any major Silverware, after that, the highly depressed trophy drought started for any Gunner fan! And talking about trophy drought, Birmingham is 48 years without a title!!! Both teams hungry for success, and will march their men on Wembley to prove themselves a successful team.

There is no doubt about that, Arsenal is favorite to win this fixture! Having said that, their star players will miss the fixture due to injuries, which include:
Cesc Fabregas, Theo Walcott, Robin van Persie and Laurent Koscielny. This will be a heavy blow for Wenger, who himself is very confident about their victory.
Whereas Birmingham City themselves face an injury woes, as it is not confirmed that, former Gunner, Hleb might play this fixture!
Arsenal, who defeated Barcelona in Champions League, will look forward to win this final, and get their first Silverware of the season.
